From Kilimanjaro Airport to the wild. Every step planned.
Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among giant baobabs and Tanzania's largest elephant population.
Day 3
Tarangire to Karatu
A morning game drive along the Tarangire River, then on to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for the afternoon.
Day 4
Full day in the Ngorongoro Crater
An early descent to the crater floor for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch — lion, elephant, buffalo, flamingo and black rhino.
Days 5 & 6
Ndutu and the southern Serengeti
Two days on the plains as the herds gather for the calving season, with the first newborns, cheetah on the open grass and unhurried picnic lunches in the field.
Day 7
Return to Kilimanjaro Airport
A final morning game drive and the drive back to JRO for your onward flight.
